Which Groupon Promotions Get Results?

The use of Groupons, online coupons that consumers purchase to obtain deep discounts—say, $100 worth of goods or services for $40—is skyrocketing. But many businesses struggle to understand what makes a Groupon promotion effective. To help figure that out, data scientist Paul Butler created visualizations, like the one to the left, that depict the gross revenue generated by each deal.
